Sagar Bergi (21), The prodigy who made into shark tank India season 2 Semi- Finals. Sagar has special interests in Technology and Entrepreneurship. He hails from a tier-2 city Ballari, Karnataka. He did his formal education from Dream World School, and is currently pursuing his bachelors from Siddaganga Institute of Technology. He previously headed a few technical clubs in college as well. He worked with few organizations in the as intern. He was featured by Google Developers in the past.
” I was always fascinated in exploring things and solving real world challenges. I have been working on 2 start-ups since the age of 19″ says the entrepreneur.
He is currently in shark tank India season 2 to raise funds for a stealth FinTech platform that can impact 80 millions lives in the next 10 years. It will bring 80% of underinvested Indians in Financial investments. He believes that his application will bring a FinTech revolution in the country. He has learnt about stock trading, and crypto exchange during his COVID break and used to maintain his friends portfolios. They always used to discuss various investments and stuff related to web3.
He has also written a Sci-fi on Blockchain named ” Block Lock”, he says it will be available online by the end of this year. Sagar also was a part of 0x camp Foundership, Singapore. He is actively a part of web3 and AI communities in India. He also met the Founder of Bitcoin and recorded a podcast for his YouTube channel.
Speaking about his second Startup

When Sagar asked for help in building workcations across India, Ritesh was the first to connect him with OYO folks. Sagar deeply admires Ritesh Agarwal for his passion in travel and hospitality. It was also featured in Anupam Mittal’s dream deal initiative.
Sagar says both companies and employees will benefit in workcations mode, saving workspaces cost for new Startups and also reducing stress in employees, improving work life balance. He explained the business model, it is by a monthly premium membership, users get access to a workcation desk anywhere across India, users reserve a desk like any other movie booking platform and can work from beautiful destinations across India. Sagar is also the chairman of dolphintank project. It is an ed-tech accelerator program for teenagers. It is a free program for government schools and colleges across India. He will teach kids to build their first Startup. It covers modules for design thinking, idea validation, prototype making/MVP, Pitch deck, leadership qualities, case studies of various companies and other necessary aspects of business. Teenpreneurs get an opportunity to discuss with curious peers and mentors 1:1. Here there are expert sessions for kids about their field of interest like sports, AI, programming, web3, space technology, dance, art. He added ” The design of this course was done with mentorship from experts, unicorn leaders, various investment firms VCs and angel investors.
The mentors in this program are from reputed companies and colleges. ” There are various Entrepreneurs and VCs to discuss on the platform to interact with students. The platform will also help students get funding or incubation. This platform will aid teenagers to get an edge in various grants and hackathons.
