This is Shivani Choudhary, a passionate video editor from a small city Saharanpur Uttar Pradesh. I am 23 right now. I run a Video Editing Agency (https://vedits.in) based out of Ranchi, Jharkhand. Now, you must be thinking why there is a gap in location, so I shifted to Ranchi in 2021, and one of my close friends helped me set up my own business. I come from a middle-class family. My family never supported me in doing something of my own, and I couldn’t even go outside without permission. After graduating in 2019, I prepared for government exams but never appeared for exams because Government Jobs never fascinated me.
I wanted to do something different, something out of the box. So, one fine day my brother asked me to collaborate with their Youtube Creators Team, and I always wanted to do something like that. So, I said yes, why not. Then down the line, Channel grew well, but destiny had other plans. The Channel stopped, the team scattered, and again I was left with only one question: what am I supposed to do now? One random day I decided to run away from my home, and I shared this thought with one of my friends from Ranchi, which I have discussed above. She understood and supported me in my decision, and she told me to come, and we will do something here. Also, I shared the same with my mother, but she denied me doing so, and she said you should tell my brothers about it because it may cause problems in the family. After hearing this, I lied to my brother that I was selected for a job and that I had to do this anyway. And guess what? He permitted me to go but left me with a taunt that I would come back within three months. I took that taunt as a challenge, and I left. I had only 500 Rs. in my pocket at that very point. I had no idea what I was supposed to do. I came to Ranchi (All the expenses are taken care of by my friend from Ranchi). We collabed and have done lots of projects together. I learned all the work even though I didn’t know how to operate a computer.
Even I worked as a salesperson in a shop to fulfill day-to-day expenses. We have seen many ups and downs in life. I take all the failures I have seen as a life lesson. Now I am making around 1 lac a month as revenue and 12 lac per month, and I thank every person who has supported me in achieving success. I have my own YouTube Channel now with 1.9k Subscribers. So, I only request to you people, never underestimate your power. Just follow your dreams, and the dots will connect accordingly. Here is my favorite quote – “Do What You Love, and Love What You Do.”
