The 33 rd AGM of SFOSI SINDHI FEDERATION OF SOUTH INDIA was held at Hotel Bangalore International from 5 th January to 7 th January 2024 . About 40 to 60 Member Delegates attended the 3 day AGM in which Brainstorming Session and 3 rd Executive Committee Meeting was organized. About 300 People attended the gala Sindhu Awards in which 9 Sindhu Ratna Awards 4 Sindhu Bhushan Awards 4 Sindhu Shree Awards were distributed. Totally 17 Awards were presented to the Outstanding Sindhis of South for their contributions and dedication to the Sindhi Community and achievements in their own field.

We had the privilege of honoring the Vice Chairman of NCPSL National Council for Promotion of Sindhi Language DR SRI MOHAN MANGHNANI and his wife SMT RENU MANGHNANI from Bangalore. The program started with an Invocation by Master M Trishula Vendan . President Sri Pramod Chhabria welcomed the gathering. Chairman Sri Deepak Narang Sindhu Awards briefed about the Sindhu Awards and the Awardees were presented with the Awards. The Awardees introduction was done by Chairman Sri Deepak Narang. Additional Secretary Sri Mahesh Chhabria, Secretary Sri Danesh Chhabria, Vice President Sri Krishna Samant and Treasurer Sri G D Prakash, Vice Chairman Sri Mohan Manghnani addressed the gathering. The M C was done by Additional Secretary Sri Mahesh Chhabria. Secretary Sri Danesh Kumar proposed the Vote of Thanks. The Awards ceremony was followed by Entertainment , Fellowship and Dinner.
On 6 th Shining Star of South Awards were presented to 44 Meritorious Students from all over South Indaia at a gala function attended by about 220 people which included the Merit Students along with their Parents. SFOSI office Bearers and Members. The M C was Dr Sanjay Bajaj , invocation was done by Mrs Kailash , President Sri Pramod Chhabria Welcomed the gathering. The Merit students profiles were presented by Chairman Sri Balilal Chhabria, Sri Aashish Amarlall and Sri Munish Chhabria. The Awards were presented by Sri Raj Menda and Smt Nitu Menda of Menda Foundation. Sri Arjun Menda of Menda Foundation graced the functions and participated in all the meetings and discussions of SFOSI. Vote of Thanks was proposed by the Additional Secretary Sri Mahesh Chhabria. President Sri Pramod Chhabria Welcomed the Members. Lots of discussions were held and new proposals were passed to organise Sports, Talent under Activities, and Business. Business Secretary Sri Danesh Kumar proposed the Vote of Thanks. This is the new record of Attendance of about more than 500 people at a 3 day event. The earlier being the Silver Jubilee Meet of SFOSI at Kodaikanal in 2013 where the attendance was about 350 people organised by Sri Mahesh Chhabria and Sri Gurmukh Kinger. The AGM was organised by Sri Mahesh Chhabria, Sri Deepak Narang, Sri Roop Utmani, Sri Manoharlal Hinduja and Sri Sunil Sachar.
