The city, beautiful, witnessed quite a buzz in the business community as most of the prominent personalities from Tricity graced the 2024 Indo Croatian Business Trade and Investment forum organised by TBSC Overseas Consulting, Hazel International d.o.o. & Indo Croatian Chamber of commerce headquartered in Zagreb, Croatia.

The forum was attended by a Croatian delegation which comprised of prominent business houses comprising of Vedran Soric (CEO Sorbel Group), Davor Simicevic (Co-Funder Varionica craft brewery) Drazen Simicevic (strategic investment expert) Natalia Zielinska (Euro Grant Konzulting), Ognjen Bagatin (Futura Medical Group) Paul Bradbury (CEO Total Croatian News), Nikola Perčić & Jakov Perčić (NELT Group), Don Markusic and Mayank Jagwani (President Indo Croatian Chamber of Croatia.

City Entrepreneur Mr. Dixit Sharma opened the session and welcomed the prominent personalities and distinguished guests of the evening Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic: Mr Guneet Chaudhary, Chairman – Food Commission, Punjab – Mr. Bal Mukand Sharma, ‘Potato King’ of India, Sh. Jaswinder Sangha, Managing Director – PAGRO Foods Mr. Narender Singh Brar, Producer & Writer Sh. Jarnail Ghumaan, Global Agro & Dairy Farming Consultant – Dr. Harinder Singh, COO – Vconsul Mr. 

Pawan Manchanda. 

The key panel discussions involved business, trade, investment & joint venture opportunities for the city entrepreneurs looking to expand their footprint in Europe and how Croatia provides ease of doing business for foreign investors and also as a preferred emerging investment destination in Europe. The gathering served as a platform for prominent business tycoons and industrialists from the region to converge, explore and forge partnerships aimed at driving mutual growth and economic development across key sectors such as agriculture, renewables, cross border trade, real estate & healthcare. 

Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic – Mr Guneet Chaudhary, emphasised on the need to provide budding Indian football students with special football coaching and requested the Indo Croatian Chamber of Commerce to organise a special Football coaching programme paving a way and opportunity for Indian students to learn football from one of the best teams in Europe i.e. Croatia. 

TBSC – Director, Indo Croatian Chamber of Commerce – Sector development director Andrea announced new executive memberships for India Chapter 2024 and spoke on the emerging economic opportunities, further showcasing the developments and initiatives of ICCC.
