“Film or movie” when we hear these words, we always start thinking about commercial cinema, but film has a vast field. In today’s era, Documentary films are like regular movies; you probably see a documentary section on most famous OTT platforms because documentary movies are more real and created with deep detail by hard-working directors. Love Kumar Sahu is one of them who has been making documentary films under his firm JG Creation for eight years. Mr Sahu has created more than 60 films on success stories, biographies, case studies, promotional stories, wedding documentaries, and Initiatives for NGOs, schools, CSR departments, Individuals etc. He completed his filmmaking studies at a Banglore-based institute and then worked with other productions. Finally, he launched his firm in Udaipur (Raj.). Today, JG creates films for famous NGOs like Gayatri Seva Sansthan, Gram Gaurav Sansthan, Shrusthi Seva Samiti, Mahan Seva Sansthan, Samarth Charitable trust etc. apart from NGO JG also works for corporate companies and individuals.
How is JG Creation different??
Mr Sahu says – If you can’t feel a story, then you won’t do justice with film. For making a good documentary director must be involved in the script to screen, and we always focus on giving emotion to the film; otherwise, it won’t be a good movie. First, we discuss the long story, characters, story steps, characters’ condition and location to write a script then we start filming. In filming, we shoot with detail with characters from all perspectives so that it will affect the audience; otherwise, a flat or unorganized shoot will always remain footage forever then we jump to the editing room. Editing plays a vital role in filmmaking, so it can’t be taken lightly; we do multiple revisions until we reach the client’s satisfaction; that’s why JG has repetitive clients.

As we mentioned earlier, documentary movies are more real, impacting society. It can bring change, create a revolution, raise voices, tell unsung stories, and make people think about any issue. That’s why the world needs more documentaries. A Documentary can create a commoner hero.
